Two Year Wedding Anniversary!

WOW time just keeps flying by!  I can't believe it has already been 2 years since I met and married my sweet, handsome, loving, caring, practically perfect husband!

All my life I would pray for this person that I didn't know yet-I would pray for all of the things that I wanted in a husband/companion/best friend. I prayed that he would love me as much as I loved him.  I prayed that he would love to hold me in his arms and hold my hand.  I wanted for him to treat me the way I deserved to be treated...like a queen ;).  I prayed that he would be kind, sweet, generous, fun, loving, adventurous, and soo many more.  I have to admit that Steven Blake Tidwell has everything I prayed for.  I truly believe he was made perfectly for me!  This marriage was no accident, it was planned and prepared since the beginning of time.  There is a reason we met and married when we did and I know the Lord has BIG plans for us.  Each year I have loved looking back and see how much we both have grown and how our love has grown!

We had such a great anniversary!  Steve planned the whole thing and surprised me! February 5th was on a Tuesday so we both had to work but when I got home he was all ready and as handsome as can be!  He bought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers.  I quickly changed and we left for our first surprise!

DINNER:
He took me to PJ Clarks in the Ceasars Palace.  It was absolutely delicious!  We shared a steak that melted in your mouth. Mashed Potatoes and a Caesar Salad!  For desert we got hot apple pie with ice cream!  It was a beautiful romantic place!

ACTIVITY:
We have always loved going to our Asian massage place to get nice foot massages so he surprised me by taking me there!  Its called the Big Foot Massage.  They soak your feet in warm water and then pretty much give you a full body massage.  We have had them stand on us before and use their elbows on our backs and it all feels AMAZING! i love any type of massage! It was wonderful! Steve definitely knows how to make me happy!

LATE NIGHT:
Lastly he surprised me with a night stay at The Rumor Hotel-this is the hotel we stayed at after our wedding.  It is a beautiful hotel with nice comfy beds!  We had a great night getaway with just the 2 of us!

Snowboarding

One of our favorite things to do in the winter time is to go up to Brianhead and go snowboarding!  We love the snow!  So we planned a trip with Em and Ry.  It was such a beautiful day-the sun was out and shining...we had such a great time! I am very familiar with Brianhead because that is the only place i have been snowboarding.  I thought I knew the mountain pretty well but Rhyno took us on some trails that were soo much fun!  I went on my first half pipe!  It was scary but fun and after I went once i just wanted to keep going!

Steve is amazing! I love watching him board and go off the jumps!  He got me going off some big jumps and some rails but last year I ate it pretty hard on a jump so i was a little timid this year!  Well near the end of the day we went over to a different lift to see if the car jump was up (it wasn't) but steve went through the park and was going off of these other jumps.  Well he came down from a jump not landing the right way and dislocated his elbow.  I get so nervous when he gets hurt...thank heavens his sister Emilee who is a nurse was there-she was a champ-so was steve!  That ended the day but we had such a great trip!

Happy New Year!!

As 2012 came to a close I was able to ponder on the year and think about how blessed I am to have such a wonderful husband, 2 amazing families that I LOVE sooo much, and a ton of friends that bring so much happiness into our lives!

I know 2013 will bring us soo many more adventures, fun experiences, and love!

It is great to be alive!

Christmas 2012

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! It is true what they say...the older you get the faster the years go by.  Once again i had a fabulous christmas filled with laughter, family, and friends.  You know it was a good weekend when you have 2 delicious turkey dinners! We spent Christmas Eve with the Tidwell family and Christmas Day with the Worthen's! My little brother Reese came in on Christmas Day so our whole family was able to be together! It couldn't have been more perfect!!

Thanksgiving

I can't believe Thanksgiving has come and gone! Well this is steve's favorite holiday!  He looks forward to it all year long.  Last year on the drive home steve says "i can't wait for flagstaff next year!" he said the same thing this year!

July-October 2012

Well the rest of the summer was spent having a BLAST! We were able to go to the beach A LOT!

May 18-20
This was our first Beach trip of the summer to New Port! We thought it was going to be a little chili since it was still early in the summer but it was beautiful weather!! This trip was just with Rhino, Em, Chance, Mav, Steve and I.  We had such a great time!! We love spending time with the Ence family :)

July 6-8
New Port...we are creatures of habit.  We pretty much always do the same thing!  This time we had a much bigger group! I actually got my brother and his family to come join the fun!  We get out to the beach really early and set up our place...we have lots of umbrellas, blankets, and air mattresses.  With coolers full of food! It is my dream one day to live in the middle of steve's sister Emilee and my brother Ryan...this gave us a little inkling of what it would be like!! It was perfect :)

Ryan and Brit let us ride up with them so we got to hang out and have fun with Kaylee, Kensi and ryan!

 

 

July 20-22 Arizona
I couldn't wait for this trip.  We were going to Wet N Wild down in arizona.  I miss the wet N wild that was in vegas soo bad so i couldn't wait to experience this one! I must say it wasn't as good as the one we had here but it was a water park and we had a blast!

August 17-19 Utah
Steve and I finally got to go to Utah-we haven't been since before we got married. I really love it up there.  We got to spend some time seeing some good friends and hanging out with my family that lives up their. My cousin James when on a mission to chili so we went up for his farewell! We had a great time!

September 1-3 New Port
Our last beach trip of the summer :(  Steve and I weren't going to go but somehow Rhino convinced us! (it wasn't too hard)  We were definitely glad we went. We always have such a great time!! We LOVE our family!! Steve rented a surf board and went surfing for the first time! It was a lot of fun watching him!
