First of all I need to give a shout out to all the birthdays in May!

There are soo many in between but these are the ones that we celebrated this year!

Man did I get spoiled!!! Steve calls it Birthday May and we celebrate my birthday all of may! I don't know how i got soo lucky!

Since my birthday is on memorial day weekend we got to go to the beach!! So we left friday early morning and went to california!  On the way we always stop at Del Taco.  When we get to Cali we go shopping to get all the goodies we need for the weekend (treats, snacks, and drinks)  We spent the rest of the day shopping around and hanging out!

On saturday we got up early and went down to Huntington beach!  Spent all day hanging out and laying in the sun.  For lunch we went up to Baumburger and did a little bit of shopping while we were up there!  At Huntington beach they have these little tents where people sell some cute things so i got a really cute bracelet and some of the head bands that i love!!

Sunday (MY BIRTHDAY) we went to church and then camped out on the beach! We hung with all of our friends, took a long nap and had lunch at Wahoos!  For dinner we went to Bubba Gumps which i have been obsessed with since Florida!  They have the best salad!  They sang a great birthday song and had be dance for them!  It was a perfect day!

The things i got for my birthday from steve: Havaianas, Bvlgari perfume, a cute love bracelet, headbands, volcom hat, a pair of shorts, a few shirts, a cute white blazer, white wedges and last a golden locket with my 2 favorite pictures in it! I would say that i am definitely spoiled!!

UNLV

Well for the past 3 years i have been coaching the UNLV cheer team and have loved it!  I started cheering there in 2006 for my brothers! Cheer has been a part of my life since I was 5 and I guess it is in my blood.  My mom cheered, all of my aunts cheered, my grandma and even my great grandma cheered!  Never in a million years would i have thought i would have cheered all four years of college. But i did and it was such a great experience.  After I graduated I started coaching and had such a good time.

In April we went to NCA college nationals in Dayton Beach Florida.  This was only our second year at NCA.  We usually compete at UCA in January.  The team did such a good job!  I was soo proud of them they hit all of their stunts and pyramids!  We got 6th place with our team and our group stunt got 5th! Loved my girls!

After a lot of thought I decided to stop coaching at UNLV but i loved my time there! There are soo many memories that I will never forget!

Easter is such a great holiday! When you are young all you think about are the fun things that come with the holiday! Coloring eggs, easter egg hunts with grandma, easter egg hunt from the easter bunny, your easter basket and all the presents and candy that come in it, fun easter picnics, no school, and playing with your friends!

As you get older you start thinking about what these holidays mean and why we celebrate them!  I am soo grateful that we celebrate the resurrection of the Savior and I am grateful for the relationship I have with him.  I am so thankful that I can rely on him and ask for help anytime I need him.  I know he is always watching over us and wants the best for me and my family.  I love having holidays that I can ponder and reflect the real meaning of life and the true meaning of happiness!

This weekend we were able to get some of our favorite people together to go snowboarding!  My uncle Robert let us use his cabin and we had such a wonderful time!  It snowed the whole time we were there!  There was soo much powder on the mountain.  Chance went skiing for the first time and had a blast.  We built ramps, tunnels and pathways to go sledding and stayed in the cabin with the fire roasting, drinking hot chocolate, laughing, and enjoying our time together.

Valentines Day!

We had a great Valentines Day! Since it is soo close to our Anniversary we don't go all out but I made steve some chocolate covered strawberries and we got invited over to Megan and Ethan's to make a dinner for all the boys.  So Ciji, Megan, and I made dinner for our husbands! It was fun to spend time with our friends, and the boys loved their steak and lobster!

I am grateful i have someone to share valentines day with for the rest of my life!

Family Vacation!

Soo as you saw in my Christmas Post all of us kids bought my parents a trip to Knott's Berry Farm for a family vacation because it has been soo long since we were all able to go on a trip together!  So we packed up and went on our way to California!

We drove up after work on thursday and wanted to go to Knott's on friday.  Well friday it was rainy in the morning so we ended up upgrading to season passes just incase most of the rides were closed because of the rain we could come back on saturday.  Well it actually ended up being a great day and we got to ride all of the rides!  We still went back on Saturday and enjoyed the day! I think Steve had a total of 10 dip n dots!  He loves those dots!

We have so much fun with my family! It was great to be all together again!

One of my all time favorite things to do at Knott's
is to take our old fashioned pictures.  This is our 4th
one since I was born.  It is a tradition i LOVE!!

The swings will always be one of my favorite rides!
