CRUISIN' to the Bahamas

My mom, Brittany, Lexie and I got to go on a cruise to the Bahamas! It was soo much fun. Lexie is in this group called hollywood kids academy and once a year their group goes and sings on a cruise ship so as a loving sister I decided I would go and support her! We had a lot of fun in between :)

soo we celebrate the 17th because that is the day that we met each other. and steve loves any excuse to celebrate! (i kinda love that about him:) soo we found this place down in china town that gives 30 min foot massages for 20 bucks! and they do a really good job so we decided that we were going to do this every month! they are open 24 hours which fits with our schedule...so about 1130pm we head down there but i tell steve that i have been craving pizza for days and he just got so excited soo we went to the cosmopolitian for this secret pizza place that steve LOVES it was very good and it might have to be added to our celebration! with full stomachs we headed to our relaxation spot and enjoyed our night!

Climbing like a champ!

soo steve and I decided that we wanted to be more active now that the summer was coming up! we have watched a lot of movies on our comfy love sac since weve been married and don't get me wrong i am loving the snuggle time but my tummy is gettin a little chubby! haha soo we finally got out into the sunshine. We met steves brother Ryan out at red rock and went climbing! we had such a fun time. I was worried i was going to be too out of shape but i actually did really good. I think this might become one of our fun hobbies! :)

Newport

well steve and I kinda got a little honeymoon! We decided we are going to have lots of them so we called this one our second honeymoon! Soo a friend of mine offered us their time share in Newport for the week and I got all excited! He took the weekend off and we headed down there and it was a perfect weekend. The weather was awesome we laid out on the beach and shopped and ate and hot tubbed all night. It was great...the timeshare was beautiful and we had a great view of the ocean and such a nice room. I love trips with my honey!! The best thing about my husband is that he lets my friends come along and party with us!!

My First Valentine

So to tell you the truth I have managed to go 23 years without ever having a valentine-i know its hard to believe :) but its true. I cannot tell a lie it sure was nice that my first valentine happened to be the man that I am married to! We both had to work all day but had a date planned for that night. He got home shortly after me and didn't come empty handed. He had a bouquet of roses in his hands, the same kind of roses he gave me the night he proposed. 2 boxes of chocolates, (the good kinds) and a card that was absolutely perfect. He always finds the most perfect cards. I love it because i can always look at them later and read what he writes!

anyway our date! We went to outback, it was absolutely perfect. We sat at the bar because it was an hour and a half wait so we took the first spot we got. It was kinda fun! After that we went to Yogartland, our favorite! Yogartland is special to us because the second night we hung out we spent 3 hours there getting to know one another it was great! We finished our date with grocery shopping! It couldn't have been better!

It sure is fun to have a Valentine!!

First Week long gone

holy cow!! i can't believe the first week is already over-it went by fast but slow. It is not weird at all waking up to my hunny every morning. I absolutely love it! We had such a wonderful week!

After the wedding we stayed at the Rumor hotel for 2 nights. It was such a beautiful room and steve had it all done up with rose petals all over and candles around the tub-it was perfect. We really enjoyed our time there. On sunday we went to the Jersey boys-it was soo great and then we had dinner with both of our families. It was a perfect idea and we all enjoyed our night together. The next morning we slept in which was needed and so nice. We checked out of the hotel and went to stake N shake. We got right to business that night setting up and organizing our little apartment. It has been fun building all of the things together and figuring out where to put all of our crap! I fixed him dinner and it was fun to be a wife!

we made a goal that we will always go on a date once a week. He doesn't have a set schedule so we have to figure it out every week. Last week worked out nice we got to go out on friday night, He took me to the Range steakhouse and it was absolutely delicious. After that we went to the movie with Jennifer Aniston and Billy Madison "Just Go For It" It was a perfect date. Steve is so sweet to me-always being so considerate of my feelings and making sure I am happy with everything. I sure do love him!

its soo fun to be a newlywed!

5 more days

Today my sweetheart gave me a take 5, 5 hour energy, and 5 gum...i finally recognized the pattern. We are both so excited that we only have five more days until we are able to be married! I really can't believe that i found my love. I keep telling my family ad friends that I feel like I am reading a book and I am the main character. Im excited to spend the rest of my life with steve and experience new fun and exciting things with him.

Wedding plans have gone perfect. Only a couple stressful moments. (1) We were on a time crunch with our invitations, since the engagement was fairly short and our photographer doesn't live in vegas we took pictures as soon as we could and got them to our invitations lady quickly but it was 2 weeks and a couple days before the wedding and i still didn't get them in the mail. so i had a mild freak out but we got them and it worked out! (2) steve was scheduled to work on the day we were taking our bridals and groomals and said he couldn't get off. I think i started to freak a little when he asked me if we could take them after the wedding. sweet sweet steve-he is soo funny sometimes. I know he will always make me laugh for the rest of my life. BUT he figured things out like he always does-he always makes sure I am happy! Now everything is done and we are just waitin' and waitin' so we are excited!

oh the apartment hunting. WOW that was stressful to me. Night after night of looking online and driving all around town was fun at first, but got old fast! I am soo indecisive and didn't know what i wanted but i knew i didn't want to pay a lot for something we were only going to be in for a couple of months. After about a week and a half of looking and looking we finally found one! Steve and I are both happy-he made the final decision based on my happiness. it is close to my home and work, just a little one bedroom one bath that is slowly coming together. I love it and can't wait to live in it!

and then we have the same old thing. WORK-steve has been doing great at Gucci and he really likes it, i have just been doing hair and helping out at UNLV and coaching my other team. BUSY BUSY-can't wait for our little four day vacation.

OHHH lastly-i had an awesome bridal shower last saturday. It was so fun to have all my friends there and i got plenty of goodies! can't wait to use them :)
