JUNE 2012

Steve and I were so lucky to go on our honeymoon this year! After we got married we decided to just stay in Las Vegas and have a stacation because Steve didn't have any time off...so we waited patiently and then got to take the trip of a lifetime! It was better than i could have imagined!

COZUMEL

Day by Day recap:

Our trip started out with memories we will never forget.  I have never spent the night in an airport before but this is something we both experienced together! We had a very long layover in some ghetto town where we couldn't understand anybody's english! haha when we got in we were both starving but it was like 10pm so all of the food places were closed.  This chinese place was just cleaning everything up and was probably about to throw the food out but she insisted that we buy some chicken and rice for half price.  When you are starving you will eat anything!  So steve and i shared that and while walking to our terminal we found a little corner store open that had lunchables so thats what satisfied my stomach. We had like 8 hours to waste so we decided to watch some LOST (i think that was the tv serious we were finally finishing!) We pushed to benches together and made us a little bed.  For a little while i thought they were going to come kick us out of the airport bc their was NOBODY their it was a ghost town...except for this maitanence guy who must have been having a lot of fun vaccuming because we swear he vaccumed right by our terminal all 8 hours! We finally caught some shut eye and before we knew it we were ready to board the plane.  

The fun started when we got to cozumel:

*Polaris tour around the island-saw mayan temple, lighthouse, alligators, learned how to make tequila :)

*snorkel tour to 3 reefs with a personal photographer :)

*swimming with the dolphins

*parasailing 

*shopping and bargaining in town

*rented a jeep and drove around the Island...almost broke down in the Jeep!

*lunch right on the beach

*dinners with the best company

*fire show and dancing

*swimming in the rain

*laying and relaxing on the beach!!

 We had such a blast and created so many great memories! We hope this is the first of many more trips to come!!

recap...its been way too long!

I was just thinking the other day that it had been a couple of months since i wrote on my blog. I was ashamed when i realized that it was coming up on a year! how lame am I!  Well i will do a quick recap of the things that have gone on in my life! I guess i was having to much fun playing!

Jan-April

Lots of Runnin' Rebel basketball!! It was awesome we had a good season but we can't wait for it to start this year!  I miss some of the seniors we said goodbye to last year though :(

May 2012

Well I am sad to say it has been 8 months since my last post.  It has been so long it took me about 30 minutes just to figure out what my blogger name and password were.  SO PATHETIC!

I guess i contribute the neglect to my fun and busy life :) I will try and recap on the big events since our 1 year anniversary...

LIFE has been so fantastic. I can honestly say I enjoy each and every day!

I guess the best thing i can do is recap our life in months...

MAY

We absolutely LOVE the summer months-reasons why...we get to see and spend lots of time with Rhino and Em and our 2 handsome nephew's Chance and Mav!  The weekend of May 5th we were invited to Panaca with Rhino, Em, Chad and Emylee! We have a blast with this group and love them more than anything!!

Later that month we were able to go to the beach...we do a few beach trips during the summer and steve and i cannot let them go with out us.  We have soo much fun.  It was BEAUTIFUL weather this weekend.  We were a little worried because it was still really early in the year but it couldn't have been any better!  We love the beach!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful, amazing, perfect MOM! On May 8th she turned 55 and still looks like a hottie!! I love her so much!

And THEN it was my BIRTHDAY!!! One thing that i love and adore about steve is that he always makes me feel special.  He loves to see me excited and happy about his surprises.  And I LOVE my birthday and surprises!  I also love getting spoiled (but who doesn't) and I am so thankful for Steve who knows always just what to do and makes sure everything is perfect!! 

His sister Kylee got married on my birthday so Steve woke up early and...

 This was my birthday surprise...my favorite breakfast in bed and my present which was an i pod nano with a watch band to go with it!

FEBRUARY 5, 2012

We have already been married a whole entire YEAR!

as i look back on this past year we have had a lot of...
-non stop laughter
-road trips
-trips to our Chinese massage place
-fun times with our families
-beach trips with our favorite people
-friends and family getting married
-fun birthday celebrations
-love and support
-late nights of watching TV or playing PS3
-work outs 'insanity'
-1 year celebration of our first...day we met, day we kissed, day we said I LOVE YOU, the day we got engaged
-holiday fun and celebrations

soo many fun and exciting things.

We have been soo blessed and i am so grateful for my sweetheart.  I hope each year we are married continues to grow and develop just like our first year.  i think we set up a pretty good foundation for years to come!

(on a side note.  for our anniversary weekend we went and spent the night up in mesquite and had a spa day on saturday.  It was a perfect relaxing celebration!)

My older brother Rusty got married on January 28, 2012.  He married a girl name Jessica Lynn, (which is my name) she is in hair school and her birthday is in May like mine! (i think my brother wanted to marry a girl just like me:) haha

all jokes aside she is wonderful and i am grateful to have her be a part of our family.  It is kind of scary when your siblings get married. You want to make sure they fit in the family so that it isn't awkward when you have family get togethers!  well she just fits perfectly! All of the outsiders that married in are just perfect :) I sure do love my family.  only 2 more siblings to go...i hope they don't screw it up!

There wedding day was perfect and i was glad that i was able to be a part of it!

Life has been wild. crazy. busy. fun. exciting. relaxing. perfect.

I could go on for days. With Thanksgiving, Christmas, AND New Year all so close together it really makes for a busy couple of months. NOT to mention my brother Reese had a birthday on New Years and my DADs is on the 2nd. Plus Brittany (my sister in law) had her baby BOY on December 30. RYAN WATTERS WORTHEN JR. He is absolutely adorable and Brittany's birthday is today. So we have had a lot of fun the last couple of months. Not to mention we have our big 1 YEAR anniversary coming up in February. All i can say is that life is perfect!! :)

                            This is our first Christmas Tree...We didn't end up ever getting a star :( 

 

                                         

        I did a 25 days till Christmas Countdown for my sweetie. It turned out cute and it was FUN!!!

The day was really nice and relaxing.  We just hung out at our apartment together and ran a few errands.  That night we went to dinner with Rusty and Jessica, stopped by Kristi and Bows and then we played Bunko at our friends house....We had
sooo much fun!
