"Im going to a race and im gonna win first place!!" Well i survived my first race-Kristi and i ran a 5K today. It was the miles for better smiles fundraiser that a friend of ours puts on. I am not a runner and i know its not a very long race but i was nervous-i just don't like feeling like a loser. I had to encourage myself the whole way (what a loser) but I FINISHED!!! we ran the whole thing in 30 min. I was proud of us-we are going to do another one soon so we can improve our time! Ill be more prepared for the next one...i can check that off my bucketlist. :)

NCAA

On the road to OKLAHOMA!!! What a trip-it was such a great way to end off my career. We left tuesday morning and got there in time to eat and just chill-wednesday we all went to the Oklahoma bombing memorial (it was soo touching) they did a beautiful job. Later that night we ate at Toby Keiths and walked around. We really bonded with the Rebel girls and eachother. I love these trips for that very reason! Thursday was the BIG GAME!! Oh and it was quite a game. We lost by three in the last 20 seconds...heartbreaking. We decided to condol ourselves by eating at olive garden-it was divine :) we all stayed up way too late chatting about everything-it was awesome! I can honestly say the last 4 years have been some of the best. I am so grateful for the opportunity i had to cheer at UNLV. I will always remember the wonderful memories!! LOVE MY REBELS!

MWC Tournament

What a week!!! March the best time of the year! I couldn't love life anymore than I do right now-i just get soo pumped watching my boys play. Thursday night 8:30 we played Utah (who beat us twice in the regular season) our first game in the conference tournament. BEAT them 73-61. I could finally tell Bubba it was over! Friday night 8:30 we played BYU...BEAT them!!! 70-66 i must say i do love beating BYU :) final game wasn't the best but i still love them with all my heart!! UNLV SDSU 55-45. NCAA to be announced...

lucky number 7!!!

So i never win ANYTHING but i guess today was my lucky day!! i was just on my way down to UNLV listening to the radio when they started talking about being the 7th caller. So i decided what the heck its worth a try. I called and it was busy so i decided to try one more time and it was ringing....i thought for sure they were just going to say sorry you're caller blah blah but she was like wahoo your caller number 7 our WINNER!!! haha i didn't even know what i won! i just screamed :) it turns out i won free show tickets, a bracelet and tickets to stripper 101 class-haha im excited about that!!! It was a great day!!

Love is in the air!!!

What a super fantastic Valentines Day!!! A couple of our friends decided to take a road trip down to San Diego to watch the Rebels play SDSU-that wasn't the highlight of the trip-i was a little depressed after the game, but we went and ate and went to the beach that night so that made up for it.

On VALENTINES DAY we went to DISNEYLAND :) It was a blast!!! Me, Jaron, Jen, Lindsey and Trish went wild all day long! I made a fool of myself and was laughed at most of the day!! I think it is one of my many talents ;) Jaron was a pimp with us four girls-and such a good sport all weekend long!

JuSt FoR fUn!!!

Monday night me, my mom and my sister when to Blue Man Group! None of us have ever seen it and my friend Jenny got us free tickets so we all went together. It was a lot of fun-i love spending time with the girls. We are all exactly alike. Its scary!!!

W-I-N!!!!

Revenge is the GREATEST!!! Soo we had another match up against BYU on Saturday February 6, 2010-this time it was at the T&M!! What a wonderful game it was :) all my boys were on it-Willis made a career high scoring 33 pts! We smashed them-we were up by 29 at one point...final score 88-74. The crowd was ridiculous-one of the funnest games i have cheered at! I must admit i am obsessed with the REBELS-my boyfriends=Darris Santee and Derrick Jasper!! It was love at first sight ;) ha i also love Chase Stanback, Trevon Willis, and Oscar Bellfield, Matt Shaw, Kendall Wallace, they are all homies!! im really excited to see more of Anthony Marshall and Justin Hawkins! I will be a fan for life ;)
